I noticed some time ago that though the classics aren’t a core part of public discourse today they still show up more than you might think. So i’ve made it a point to scan a bunch of periodicals and make note not of where influential writers of the past are invoked. Here’s the newsletter.

I think its neat to see how folks of all poltiical bents reference old ideas to express how they feel about new ones. Sometimes its profound, sometimes its shallow. Etiher way I’m having fun doing it and I think its fun to read.

Its free for now, if there’s enough interest maybe I’ll charge a few bucks a month so I can justify spending more time on it. If not then not.
